Belle Spirale deepens its artistic partnership with Calgary's Ballet Bodies YYC through a collaboration that bridges Vancouver and Calgary's dance communities while expanding our creative practice through new regional connections.

WORLD PREMIERE A moving 25-minute duet created for Calgary-based artists Serenella Sol and Beth Durnie. This intimate work celebrates the exceptional depth of relationship possible between women, examining sisterhood not as biological connection but as chosen bond. Using Belle Spirale's signature blend of kinetic, virtuosic movement, original text, and film, the piece explores how women carry lineage, memory, and ritual through their bodies—fierce, tender bonds that sustain and propel us forward.
NEW COMMISSION We are excited to begin research for a new creation which brings together seven professional dancers from both Vancouver and Calgary. Co-created by Alexis Fletcher and Sylvain Senez in collaboration with the artists, this commission creates an entirely new community of performers, building a project within a fresh regional context.
