For us, the heart and rigour in this project lies in the concept of translation, as the foundational inspiration for this, our first ever co-creation, is the extraordinary poetry of Forugh Farrokhzad (1934-1967). Forugh is one of the most beloved Persian poets, and a powerful female voice which speaks across cultures and generations.
